Step 4 — Forward your FMCSA phone to Shield
Save (not assigned) as DOT Shield in your phone.
iPhone
- Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding.
- Turn on.
- Enter YOUR_SHIELD_NUMBER.
Android
- Phone app → Menu → Settings → Calling accounts.
- Tap your carrier → Call forwarding → Always forward.
- Enter YOUR_SHIELD_NUMBER.
Carrier code (any phone)
Dial **21*# then green call. Cancel with ##21#.
Verify forwarding
We'll call your FMCSA number. If forwarding is on, the call lands on Shield and we mark you verified.
Status: idle
